SHIBUMI is pleased to present ENAMOUR featuring the work of Alice Son and Chris Neff. As self-taught engravers, their pieces showcase the feminine and masculine perspectives of this classic technique, that is at once both modern yet reminiscent of a different era.
ALICE SON's elegant combination of contemporary forms and traditional motifs bring a mysterious and sensual quality to her sculptural jewelry. In 2023, Alice was April Higashi’s 2023 Women's Jewelry Association Mentee though the Jewelry Loupe Project.
CHRIS NEFF’s immaculately crafted pieces are imbued with an industrial, steam-punk aesthetic. Chris was SHIBUMI’s lead goldsmith from 2006 to 2013. He has since struck out on his own; focusing on meticulous stone-setting, custom engraving and other one-of-a-kind fabrication.
SHIBUMI welcomes Alice and Chris' newest collections, as well as offering personal engraving on either new or existing pieces.
