Trevi Alohilani Pendro (they/them) is a non-binary hāfu metalsmith, maker, and writer. Born in Los Angeles and raised in the East Bay Area, they hold a BFA in Jewelry & Metal Arts from California College of the Arts, with a concentration in printmaking and a minor in Writing & Literature. Trevi’s practice has been shaped by mentorship from established artists and deepened through artist residencies — particularly during their time living on the rural Mendocino Coast. Their work doesn’t simply draw inspiration from the world around them; it engages with the full sensory experience of it. Creating jewelry and metal objects is how they honor these idiosyncrasies, and embracing a need for tactile, grounded expression. Their pieces combine abstracted elements of the natural world with traditional metalsmithing techniques, yielding clean lines, bold yet minimal forms, and a focus on the often-overlooked details that quietly shape our environments.
